Why Use Banana Fibre?
Banana Fibre has incredibly high moisture absorption properties, these fibre’s are literally water veins feeding the banana’s as they grow in bunches on the tree so have been designed by nature to hold as much fluid as possible.
Whats wrong with Cotton, why change?
Cotton works well in sanitary pads but it is very labor intensive to harvest and is extremely difficult to grow in Australia. Cotton plantations consume an incredible amount of water, a resource which is vary scarce and valuable in a country like Australia.

Because our sanitary pads are made from all natural ingredients they can be returned to nature and will completely break down, a true full cycle product which can be returned to nature.
How does this Help Farmers
Each banana tree grows one bunch of bananas, when this bunch is cut the trunk of the tree is also cut down and a new tree trunk will shoot. Traditionally these trunks are left to rot into the ground and become a hazard for farmers to negotiate with tractors as they are large and cause bruising to fruit. We are utilizing the waste product of banana harvesting and clearing farms of debris in the process, its a win win.
